Teas were a matter of pride. Teatime was for conversation, relaxation, and socializing. Tea boxes were for showing off the valuable commodity. Modified for other items such as stamps, buttons, or jewerly. All Tea Boxes have a hinged lid, with velvet bottoms inside and out.
